New Vine Records started in 2012 when John Carter and a group of local investors (made up of dairy farmers, and other small business owners) decided to form a not-for-profit organization for the aid and development of emerging artists. This group purchased the property and facility (from then owner Peter Hopper, creator of MasterView SoundCrafts) and began the process of securing a 501 (c)3. Since then, to fulfill their mission New Vine Records has engaged the initiatives of developing a regional commercial production studio, as well as a not-for-profit record label supporting the development of emerging artists. New Vine offers management, artist development, production, and booking for those signed to the label for two-year contract periods at a time.
We see a world where the gifted artist is supported and enabled to pursue the creation of amazing music, and to organically find connection with their audience.
To secure the means, spaces, and resources needed for the development of tomorrow's artist and their original expression.
Our recording studio was constructed in 1989 for the perfection of acoustic sound. The facility was designed by Peter Hopper and studio engineer Gary Heddon out Nashville, TN. From the ground up, each space was carefully envisioned and crafted for undisturbed live recording. New Vine Studio still operates today as a commercial space facilitating independent and commercial projects. Click here for a quote.
Our label exists to make known the artists who create. Our label manages the development of songs, production of music, manufacturing of merchandise, creative marketing and distribution of the products we create.
Our desired goal is to operate with a high standard of excellence in business organization and effectively manage music licensing and copyright processes, song promotion, royalty collection, and key partnerships around the world.
Our event group Radical Entertainment exists to bring experience through live events. Radical books and manages artists travel to host events in venues. Radical administrates the planning, promotion, marketing, and ticketing for these events.
We desire to create things that bring people to new places, spark new thought, and eventually influence culture positively.
Though we are an organization, we value a sense of family rather than aspire to a cold corporate reality.
We value an idea that what we work from and what we produce is not ordinary, but above standard.
We believe that great results are not derived from statistics, but are the result of refining the already existing DNA found within the artist.
We practice a culture of honesty, trust, and open communication.
